-Spring has arrived!+
 +Friends and Neighbors,
-The flowers are starting to bud and I began my yard cleaning once again. As
-I was raking leaves and cutting branches, I thought it would be nice to have
-a community wide cleanup in April and May. I hereby challenge the residents
-of Paxtang to roll up their sleeves this spring and start with a few simple
-steps.
-1. Pick up the trash that blows around the borough. Trash is to be kept in
-bags and placed in trash containers with lids. Spring time brings furry
-creatures, young and old looking for food. They will stay where the food is
-plenty. Proper trash receptacles will deter the animals and avoid the mess
-for you and your neighbors.
-2. Straighten up outside your home as you would inside your home. +Welcome to the Mayor's Page.
-Maintain lawns and flower beds and keep the weeds or grass from growing +
-to the height of small children. I know I am personally in constant battle +
-with the weeds on my property during the summer months. I wouldn't ask for +
-perfect properties as we are all short on time however, keeping weeds +
-maintained makes a huge difference in the curb appeal for your home and our +
-community.+
-3. Enjoy the Spring air and sunshine with your family and friends!
+I am privileged to hold the position of Mayor of Paxtang Borough, as it is a wonderful place to live. We are blessed with the riches of history and old time traditions, multiple generations of families, and a diverse community of people.
-Warmest Regards,
-Mayor Stambaugh

Friends and Neighbors,

Welcome to the Mayor's Page.

I am privileged to hold the position of Mayor of Paxtang Borough, as it is a wonderful place to live. We are blessed with the riches of history and old time traditions, multiple generations of families, and a diverse community of people.

We may be small, but we are strong. Paxtang Pride is evident in our Paxtang Elementary School where most children can walk to school. One of the oldest Presbyterian Churches in the country is also located in Paxtang. We have our own Police Force and Volunteer Fire Company in addition to many fabulous organizations such as the Lenker Manor - Paxtang Women’s Group, the Wilhelm - Paxtang Athletic Association, Paxtang Lions Club, Paxtang Historical Society, Paxtang Art Association and more.

If you like spending time outside, you will enjoy our two great parks or a walk on part of the Capital Area Greenbelt walking/biking path.

We are pet friendly in Paxtang. You will see as many tails as people most days if you pass through the Borough. We are currently working on the development of a network that activates at times of lost, found or “needs a new home” pets.

And the food options are fabulous - Greek, Italian, American, Egyptian, Chinese and Thai. The restaurants, many of which will welcome you as if you were family, will prove to have reasonable prices and delicious food!

Please visit Paxtang or take a look at the homes available. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!

Warmest Regards,

Mayor Keldeen Stambaugh
