United Water’s Harrisburg System Lifts Boil Water Advisory

(Dauphin and Perry County customers only, outside the City of Harrisburg)


As a customer of United Water Pennsylvania’s Harrisburg System serving Dauphin and Perry County Customers, you were notified on 9/8/11of difficulties due to flooding at our treatment plant that resulted in uncertainty of the quality of your drinking water and you were advised to boil your water.

We are pleased to report that these problems have been corrected and that your water meets all drinking water quality standards. Therefore, it is no longer necessary to boil your water. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses).
